New Risk Management Portal

“NCEM is pleased to announce the release of the new Risk Management Portal (RMP).

“The RMP was established by NCEM in response to being identified as the lead state agency for risk management defined in N.C.G.S. 166A. The RMP is designed to provide access to: hazard and risk assessments and maps; risk management planning tools;  and a clearinghouse for risk data, models and methodologies.

“The RMP currently has a number of risk management planning tools including the Dam Inundation – Emergency Action Plan; the Licensed Care Facility Risk Management Plan; the Mental Health Care Facility Risk Management Plan.

“Over the next several months, additional risk management planning tools will be added to support fuel risk, school risk, all hazards mitigation, child care facility and county disaster recovery.” ~ Michael Sprayberry
