SMAT Initial Training: Hands-On Portion Module 9 Base Camp Ops (MHPR0709)

This Course will ocever the Hands On Activiites associated with the SMAT Initial Training Program Module 9:
Base Camp Operations.

Objectives:

Review the operation of the of the Western System M-8 Trailer system and its components
Under instructor guidance, assemble and disassemble the Western Shelter System including the shower, plenum, lighting systems and vestibule
Review the operation of the HVAC system for Western Shelter Systems
Review the operation of the Western Shelter Hygiene Center

Offered in partnership with Central Piedmont Community College. This course carries 0.60 CEUs

Eligibility:

You must be a member of an State Medical Assistance Team or other Public Safety agency to qualify for the course Fee Waiver. It is also recommneded that you have already completed the lecture portion of the SMAT Initial Training Program (either online or classroom).
