Fatigue and stress on the mental health of healthcare workers and first responders has increased exponentially over the years. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the stressors that physically, emotionally, and mentally impact those that give so much to our communities. It is imperative as we move forward, that leadership and peers, work together in addressing this concern.  Increasing awareness, giving support, and creating a strong knowledge base of the issues that accompany high stress incident are the first steps.
